Simple. To get you started - think about how much your electricity bills
are - maybe dig out the bills or a bank statement showing how much you
pay by direct debit. Most companies will give you more savings for direct
debit and paperless billing.
The only information you need to make a price comparison is your postcode,

The uSwitch.com energy calculator is accredited by energywatch, the consumer watchdog for the gas and electricity industries. This means the website has signed up to a voluntary code which stipulates that price comparison services must list all the energy suppliers in each region.
The uSwitch.com home telephone calculator lists 19 suppliers including household names like BT, Kingston, ntl and Telewest. It also includes alternative suppliers which it considers to have significant market share, brand recognition and reputation.
